Book Description/Synopsis:

The last thing she expects is to run into an old flame, and even worse, the man who broke her heart twelve years ago. She’s sure that the only thing remaining between them is a strong attraction for another.
She can’t be more wrong…
The more time she spends with Vince Reynolds, the more she begins to believe she can trust him again. But, can she put her faith in the one man who captivates her, body and soul, or are some wounds too deep to heal?
Mindy’s Review:
*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*
Dana Nelson is forced into a Inn for the night in shelter of a storm coming through. She is caught off guard when she runs into the one person that broke her heart. This is a very short read about love, betrayal and forgiveness of two people that really never got over each other.
The author fits so many emotions into this short read. I think this was a very sweet read and would recommend it to anyone that just needs something to read and don’t know what they are looking for. This book makes you believe that maybe someone does deserve a second chance.

The book’s theme is really summed up in the dedication: “To anyone who has lived with regrets…and to those who have found forgiveness in their hearts…”
Dana Nelson was betrayed by Vince Reynolds, the man she had planned to marry. Dropping in for a surprise visit from out of town, she finds a strange woman in his bed, and she walks away, never seeing him, never speaking to him again. She had not seen him in years, but her feelings are re-kindled the night she runs into him in the lobby of her hotel and she begins to ponder the problem of forgiveness.
Marie Lavender displays the issues involved in love and forgiveness in sharp form. The situation is clear. Vince was a jerk and Dana has every right to despise him. But should she hold his transgression over his head forever.
