What to Wear on a Date This Winter: a guest post by Jessica Fernhof

What to Wear on a Date

This Winter

Winter is fast approaching! While some places are blanketed in ice, others aren’t! Let us give you some tips on A-List winter date outfits that will allow you to still look great no matter what the weather. From a long weekend to an elegant night out, these clothes can help you feel stylish even while covering up.

Blazer and Boyfriend Jeans

One way to dress up and look good in your winter wear is by wearing a smart blazer. Think about pairing your mom or boyfriend jeans with a cute cardigan, a bright-colored blazer or a chunky knit sweater.

They will allow you to keep warm without sacrificing style. Make sure that you choose a top that is not too similar to your skin tone, such as black or navy, to create a good contrast and brighten up those winter days.

Sweater Dress and Knee-High Boots

One way to dress up while on a date this winter is by going all out with your inner goddess. Whether you’re going out for a romantic walk with your significant other or heading to the mall for a quick getaway, you’ll need a pair of boots with heels.

We love the huge variety of sweater dresses for all shapes and sizes this season. Choose a loose silhouette or cinch your waist with a contrasting wide leather belt. We love a wool or cashmere sweater dress with some black or dark-brown knee-high boots.

Add a vintage-looking perfume or essential oils diffuser necklace and not only look, but also smell delicious.

Short Dress and Colorful Tights

In winter dating, our main headache is looking cute while also feeling comfortable.

Getting ready for winter dates is actually easy if you know what to wear. One way to look amazing is to stick to solid neutral basic pieces and add a splash of color in your accessories. Try pairing off a short tweed dress in black or grey with some bold colored tights.

Dark green or burgundy look amazing with some boots.  You could also use colorful accents in bags, belts, hats and scarves. Choose brightly colored pieces that will go well with whatever you’re wearing, whether it be a suit or a pair of jeans.

When it comes to what to wear on a date this winter, there is so much variety that it can be overwhelming. Try experimenting with various combinations of colors and styles.

There are endless styles and colors to experiment with, and they’re usually quite affordable. No matter what style you decide to wear, just make sure it makes you look your best. So get ready to turn up the heat and have fun this winter!

Dating in winter can be so romantic and fun, and dressing for it is certainly something to look forward to, not dread! Most importantly, do wear your favorite shade of a long-staying matte lipstick to last through wind and snow and sweet kisses!

  1. I think this post is entirely inappropriate at this time. Covid is out of control and there are people worrying about what to wear on a date?
