Is this a general blog about your writing projects, or is it more focused (perhaps about a different hobby or topic)? Keeping to one overall subject matter will help your organize everything better, and you can plan your posts in advance.

    1. Hi, Lisa. Yes, I’m using WordPress as the hosting platform for my blog. You really shouldn’t need to use HTML coding language to set up and manage your own blog. You can use WordPress without it, and Blogger/Blogspot is a user-friendly hosting service as well.

    1. Hi, Karl. I use Akismet for Spam on my WordPress hosted sites/blogs. It seems to catch a lot of stuff. As for safeguarding against hackers, just make sure you have a highly secure password and update it periodically. You can also back up all your files through this web host.

    1. It is pretty easy if you have the right host. Yes, there are low-cost services. You can do a basic plan on WordPress or Blogger/Blogspot. My suggestion would be to find forums or articles that walk you through the set-up so you’re not lost when you get started.
